I remember the big snow of '69 in Spokane as a child. Dad actually stayed home from work - a first. 3 ft of snow slows down life and buffers sound. Then if the sun comes out the beauty is matchless. "Though your sins be as scarlet they shall be white as snow". What a great word picture for God's good work of grace in our lives.
