I leave for the Dominican Republic today at noon to meet with our missionaries who are exiting Haiti.
Update on Haiti leadership:
Gen supt Clovis Monplaisir and family are ok
Supt. Eliodor Devariste is OK, wife is in hospital (this corrects an earlier report that he had a broken leg)
Supt. Charite Noel is OK and in Desalinnes, no word from some of his family yet
Supt. Clodeus Notrius and family are ok
Supt. Delamy Bazilme and family are ok
supt Bathelemy (north) should be okay but not confirmed
ICCM director Mondel is ok, wife has an injury, we don't know the nature of it
Desalinnes hospital and the Peavey orphanage are staging areas for our pastors.

God speed Brother! We are praying and grieving with all Free Methodists for our missing brethren. Go in the power of His Spirit and in the Love of our Lord and with the prayers of the Church.

Pastora Mercedes Reynoso

I pray for your safety and well being as you travel into Haiti. Many prayers of thanksgiving for Katie and Jack's rescues and prayers for miracles in finding and rescuing the 3 who are still missing.
I pray for the friends that I made in my visit there, and thank God that most are (or are presumed to be) safe!
God Bless Haiti!
