Leadership development should take into account available instruments for evaluation. An excellent tool I discovered is called the Herrman Brain Dominance Indicator (HBDI). This was compared with other tools such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). I have found it more organic/less theoretical to human psychology than the MBTI, which relies on Jungian psychological theory. The web site for this instrument is as follows:
